ABOUT LISA

As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be an artist. 

Since people started asking "what do you want to be when you grow up?" my answer never wavered: an Artist. My experiences with drawing and painting led to a BFA in Printmaking, with a focus on photographic printmaking processes and Art History. I found that I loved business too, so I went on to receive an MA in Professional Writing.

In 2009, art and business came together to form Lisa Rigby Photography. I learned that weddings were one of the moments in people's lifetimes when they would commission original works of art — made for and about them. This collection of photographs would become part of their life’s story.

For the past 15 years I've been a full-time wedding photographer. I've received recognition from and have been featured by many respected outlets, including Rangefinder Magazine, BRIDES, Boston Magazine's Best of Boston, and The New York Times. But most of all, I’m honored to have been chosen by over 400 couples who have entrusted me with helping to craft their legacy.
